In my roles as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, a mother, a college professor, and the clinical director of an agency, I've had the privilege of working with over 150 families, 30 schools and daycares, and 100 professionals over the past 15 years. Through these experiences, I've gathered a wealth of knowledge and insights that I’m eager to share—not as absolute truths, but as reflections and observations shaped by both my education and the real-world application of behaviour analysis.
Parenting and educating the next generation isn’t just about intelligence or the number of degrees you’ve earned. It’s about the care we show, the connections we build, and our willingness to stay open and adaptable. Listening to others' experiences and stories can help us all reflect on our own approaches and choices.
Every child, every parent, and every family is unique. What works for one may not work for another, and that’s okay. It’s our individuality that makes us human. The key lies in individualization, understanding, and modifying our approaches while educating with compassion.
I invite you to join me as we explore these topics together—sharing experiences and stories that can support each other in our parenting and educational efforts.
Thank you Ida for the great work you have done for me and my fam =)
